Muslim Mental Health is an initiative within the CIA'S -Mental Health Mission.
Mental Health Mission is dedicated to the mission of awareness and education, reducing stigma, and increasing access to culturally competent Psychiatric care to all .
Muslim Mental Health is dedicated to a mission of awarenes and education, reducing stigma, and increasing access, to culturally competent Psychiatric professionals- with a focus on MH Nurse Practitioners, and Mental Health Navigators.
MMH initiatives include community based collaborations with local masjids and hospitals- providing awareness efforts, such as lectures, and certifications in Mental Health First Aid Training, In addition MMH offers inservice trainings to clinical professionals, on cultural competency to Muslim patients-with a focus on Mental Health./Behavioral Health.
Our experience working with local hospital and thier staff, enables us to offer Muslims access to effective inpatient/ outpatient, individualized, Psychiatric care. We assist patients in addressing a number of mental health disorders, providing a safe space for individuals to receive appropriate care.
Hijabs for Health is a collaborative fundraising venture, with a prominant International Muslim Stylist.
Muslim Mental Health is dedicated to fundraising initiatives, whose proceeds support the MMH mission, of Mental Health Education, Awareness, and provided scholarships to support Muslim clinical students, already equiped with an Islamic understanding, to pursue Psychiatric careers, which will allow them to provide critical Mental Health Services to Muslim patients, in a culturally competent and respectful manner.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions help to strengthen your relationship.
